LADIES FOOTBALL: Dunstable Town Ladies Youth bowed out of the Bedfordshire FA County Cup in the second round, losing 3-1 at home to AFC Kempston Ladies after fielding a reserve side in protest of the cup format this season. The club were incensed with the Beds FA’s decision to introduce teams of a higher standing later in the competition to ensure the likes of Luton and Bedford Ladies avoided rounds one and two.
