A DUNSTABLE engineering company has taken on a 20 year-old as a test development engineer for equipment used by the emergency services.
Communications equipment manufacturer Sedgewall Engineering, in Apex Business Centre, Boscombe Road, also provides equipment for the Ministry of Defence.
Glynn Taylor will be assisting with product design innovations in its range of pagers and paging products. He will be enrolling on an electronic engineering course at University of Hertfordshire.
Head of research and development, Dr Abi Abiodun said: “We have a strong tradition of nurturing young engineers here at Sedgewall and our trainees spend time in all departments to ensure they pick up an all round knowledge of what we do.”
