Town boss Paul Buckle has confirmed that defender Janos Kovacs is back in the reckoning at Kenilworth Road, writes Mike Simmonds.
Kovacs, who was last year’s supporters player of the season, hadn’t featured since being hauled off at half time in the 4-1 defeat to Grimsby Town five games ago.
But he was back on the bench for Saturday’s 2-0 win over Nuneaton Town, and received a near standing ovation when replacing Andre Gray late on.
Buckle said: “Jan’s come out, we’ve kicked on, he’s got to train well like he’s doing and wait for his opportunity.”
