Midfielder James Dance is going to be out for the forseeable future after undergoing an operation on his injured ankle, writes Mike Simmonds.
The 25-year-old hasn’t featured for Town since the 0-0 FA Trophy draw at Hinckley United on January 18, but had hoped to make his return in pre-season training.
However, Luton boss Paul Buckle said: “It’s killing him not to be able to get on the pitch, but injury plays such a major part in football and we’ve got to be patient with him.”
