Guiseley AFC are expecting Luton to extend Simon Ainge’s loan into the new year – but Town boss Paul Buckle will not be rushed into a decision despite warnings from the Blue Square Bet North side that he could go elsewhere, writes Mark Wood.
The 24-year-old centre-half is on an initial month’s loan at Kenilworth Road and has impressed with his no nonsense defending.
Buckle said: “He’s here for a month. As much as it is for us to look at Simon, it’s for him to look at us as well.
“I’m pretty easy where that’s concerned. I think we’re a fabulous club and I’d want to join Luton if I was in his shoes.”
Lions director Stuart Allen though warned if Luton don’t make a decision on him, other clubs could move for the England C international.
