Central Bedfordshire Council made a surplus of £16,000 from its on and off-street parking operations in 2010-11, according to data from the RAC Foundation. This ranks it 289th out of 371 local authorities. The council with the highest surplus was Westminster, with £38,196,000.
The council with biggest deficit was Nottingham with -£523,000.
