BEDFORDSHIRE people claiming tax credits have been given a deadline for their renewal.
HM Revenue & Customs reminded the county’s 56,900 claimants that payments could stop if they are not renewed by July 31.
Benefits and credits director Alison McDonald said: “People could lose all the money they have received since April.
“They also need to check their details in their renewal packs carefully as any errors now could mean they receive less money.”
