A PACKED afternoon of entertainment has been lined up for the Studham May Fair on Saturday, May 19.
The afternoon begins with the coronation of May Queen Kelly Woodhouse at 2pm.
She will be assisted by attendants Sofia Cowan and Amelia Davies, and chaperone Enid Runchman.
The fair will be on Studham Common and will feature maypole dancing by Studham School pupils, pony rides, face-painting, woodcraft and music from Kensworth Brass.
Other attractions will include stalls selling books, plants, cakes and other foodstuffs, and there will also be gift and white elephant stalls.
Visitors can try out a coconut shy and a super tombola, and let off steam at The Smashing Stall.
Masters of ceremonies will be Martyn Coote and John McDougal.
A draw will be held for a meal for two at The Bell, Studham, and there will also be a May Fair cake raffle.
And a grand draw will offer a £100 first prize.
The event is organised by The Friends Of Studham Church, and proceeds will go to the St Mary’s Church Restoration Fund.
