A LUCKY lottery scratchcard was bought by a man in Dunstable last week, pocketing him £12,500.
The winning card was purchased from Premier Store in West Street, but little is known about the lucky customer.
Priya Sivananthan, of Premier Store, said the middle-aged customer was not a regular shopper in her store.
She told the Gazette that the man said “I hope I get the luck of my son” before buying the ticket, believed to be in reference to a much smaller win.
