FOUR new plinths that have appeared in Grove House Gardens will be platforms for community sculptures, Dunstable Town Council has revealed.
The pieces of artwork, each designed by a different group of residents in the town, will be installed on the four concrete cubes before the end of the month and launched at Party In The Park in July.
The work has been created by artist Nicola Daley, who chose to build four sculptures to represent Dunstable as a quadrant.
Most of the £3,000 funding for the project came from lottery money, given to the town council last year to mark its 25th anniversary.
