THE owners of two African Grey parrots which have gone missing in Dunstable and Hougton Regis are offering a reward for anyone who can bring them safely home.
Tommy disappeared first after escaping through an open window at his home in Bromley Gardens in Houghton Regis on April 21. His owner Jean Maynard said: “He’s very loved. He’s a beautiful parrot and I’m absolutely devastated.”
But although an elderly couple in Westminster Gardens reported a sighting of a similar bird being carried by a young couple in the street, nobody has come forward to say they have found him.
And Tracy Burrows’ pet parrot Sparky escaped from her garden in Markham Crescent, Dunstable, on April 25. Searches of the area proved fruitless and the 39-year-old is frantic.
