DON’T miss your chance to cast your vote in Dunstable’s great Shop Local customer service awards.

A dedicated Dunstable photo and digital imaging centre that really does see the big picture on outstanding customer care is among the latest businesses nominated.

Daphne Carey nominated Dormans Photo Imaging, based in Broadwalk, in The Quadrant Shopping Centre.

Mrs Carey, of Roslyn Way, Houghton Regis, said: “They are wonderful. They are really nice and most helpful.”

She has digital images printed at the store, and also goes there for mounts and frames for her own watercolour artworks.

And she has nominated lab operator Alex Ellison for an individual award.

Business owner Nick Dorman said: “It’s nice to know people think you are getting it right!”

Their services also include transferring pictures onto items and they stock telescopes, photography equipment, accessories and frames, too.

Have you voted for the business you think offers the best customer service in Dunstable?

You can also nominate a special employee there – or at another business in the town – for an individual award.

Dunstable Town Council and the Dunstable Gazette are organising the awards.

The contest categories are:

> Best Customer Service From A Local Business.

> Best Customer Service From A Local Business Employee.

The winning business will receive a full colour, quarter page advert in the Dunstable Gazette, Luton News and Herald&Post as a prize. And the victorious individual employee will be treated to theatre tickets.

If you nominate the winning business or individual, your name will be entered into a prize draw for theatre tickets, afternoon tea for two at Priory House and a voucher for one hour’s complimentary use of the artificial grass pitch at Creasey Park Community Football Centre.

Nominations aren’t limited just to retail – they can include banks, garages, pubs, restaurants and cafes.

> It’s so easy to vote. Just fill in and return the nomination form in the Dunstable Gazette by post, by April 13, or email your nominations to editorial@lutonnews.co.uk.
