TWO former cadets from a Dunstable Downs gliders club have been awarded with “full category” instructor rating.
Dunstable-based London Gliding Club alumni Dan Chilcot and Ryan Berry
Dan, 24, lives in Dunstable and started gliding at 13. He made his first solo flight on his 18th birthday. He is now the mentor for the next generation of LGC cadets.
Ryan, 20, started flying at 14 and ‘went solo’ at the minimum age of 16 and is already employed as a professional instructor.
