A SCHOOL in Dunstable was awarded £5,365 to help it and other local schools get involved in the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Hillcrest Special School is a member of the Get Set network, the official London 2012 education programme, and is one of 125 schools given a grant, selected from more than 600 who applied.
Some of the 2012-themed activities they will take part in as a Get Set member include a spray paint art session led by a local artist with the theme of the Olympics and Paralympics, a professional coaching session and a county-wide disability multi-sports event.
