A SCHOOL in Dunstable was awarded a £5,365 grant to help other local schools and themselves to get involved in the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Hillcrest Special School is a member of the Get Set network, the official London 2012 education programme.
They are one of 125 schools that were awarded a grant, selected from more than 600 schools who applied.
Children from Hillcrest and other schools in the area will take part in a spray paint art session led by a local artist with the theme of the Olympics and Paralympics.
They will also have the opportunity to be coached by a professional and be invited to take part in a county-wide disability muli-sports event taking place at Bedford International Athletics Stadium.
