All change on the 202 with Centrebus

CENTREBUS has taken over the 202 Dunstable to Harpenden bus route.

The service, which was operated by Grant Palmer until December 23, provides transport links between Harpenden Station, Luton & Dunstable Hospital, Dunstable’s Southern Campus School and various villages in the area.

Due to customer demand, there will be a slight route alteration to include Tuffnells Way, Harpenden, near The Fox pub.

Discounted daily, weekly and monthly tickets will become available for passengers travelling frequently between two fixed points on the 202.

There will also be the option to join Centrebus’s travel club, where for £20 customers can get a 15 per cent discount on certain single and return tickets.

Centrebus will also provide low floor buses for the service to better accommodate disabled customers, including wheelchair users.

A spokesman for Centrebus said: “This is an exciting opportunity for Centrebus and we are keen to show passengers who may not have travelled with us before what we have to offer.”
