HOCKEY: Goals from Niccara Berry and Amy Purton saw leaders Vauxhall Chiltern Ladies draw 2-2 with second-placed Saffron Walden in Five Counties Women’s Hockey League Division One at the weekend.
Walden went ahead in the first half, but Berry made it 1-1, before the table-toppers took the lead themselves through Purton after the break.
Saffron came back fighting to earn a draw, while player of the match went to Lucy Foggarty.
In Division Three, Vauxhall went down 5-3 to Potters Bar.
Chris Routley, Ilona Clifton and Bev Siddons all scored for Chiltern, while Hayley Murphy was named their player of the match.
