A MAN required hospital treatment after he was attacked with a saw during an argument in Dunstable on Boxing Day.
The victim and a friend, who are both in their twenties, became involved in an argument with another man outside a block of flats in Union Street at about 3.15am.
The victim suffered two serious cuts to his right hand during the assault.
A 22-year-old man was arrested and released on police bail.
As police appeal for witnesses to the preceding argument Det Con Colin Knight, investigating, said: “Although a person has been arrested in connection with this assault it is still important that independent witnesses are traced so we can piece together exactly what happened that night.”
