PUPILS at Houghton Regis Lower School really were in harmony at an annual singing event.
They sang their hearts out and were named the winners in the Houghton Regis Mayor’s School Choir Contest 2011.
Thomas Whitehead Lower and Thornhill Lower pupils also took part, and each young chorister earned a certificate.
The competition this year raised £315.50 towards the charities supported by the mayor, Councillor Andrew Roberts.
Now the competition has been recorded onto an audio CD, on sale at the Houghton Regis Town Council offices, in Peel Street.
The CDs, £3 each, will raise vital cash for the mayor’s appeal fund.
