A PRE-CHRISTMAS carol concert has become something of a tradition outside D&I Family Butchers in Dunstable’s Bedford Square.
Owner Ian Rudelhoff, 50, said: “It’s got bigger and bigger since we took over five years ago.
“This year we had Father Christmas and someone handing out sweets to the kids as well as the Houghton Regis Lower School choir singing carols.
“They were brilliant, really good, a great success.”
He added: “We also put all our Christmas meat outside the shop so people can order and actually see what they’ll be getting. We had turkeys and geese, ribs of beef, venison, duck, pork and pigs in blankets.
“We have a gazebo and it’s all a bit of a jolly.”
