Christmas gifts at Priory House

THEMED gifts have filled the shelves in Dunstable’s Priory House gift shop ready for the Christmas shoppers.

Glass Christmas tree decorations and hand-made hangings have joined the Priory Pantry range of preserves and chutneys at the High Street South tourist spot.

There is also canal ware, wooden gifts from two local wood turners, hand-made jewelled collages and a range of cards and prints from local artists.

Many of the crafts and preserves on sale are from members of the Taste of Bedfordshire umbrella group for local food and crafts.

Mandeville and Wenlock, the London 2012 Olympic mascots, have also taken up residence in the shop.

Priory House are selling a range of official souvenirs to celebrate and commemorate the sporting event.

And part of the range available is from Dunstable manufacturer Hy-Pro, who supply the official outdoor toys and sports products including footballs, boomerangs and bouncy balls.

A range of East of India produce – exclusive to Priory House in this area – Book Castle Publishing local interest books, a range of traditional children’s toys, games and high- quality seasonal jigsaw puzzles are also all on the shelves.

The gift shop is open Monday to Saturday from 10am until 4pm.
