You’ve heard of Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer.
But Santa took his three-legged reindeer out and about in Dunstable on Tuesday, December 4.
It was all in a great cause, for a three-legged sponsored walk by staff from Bupa’s Ridgeway Lodge Residential Home, in Dunstable.
They dressed up as a Christmas pud, reindeer, elves, festive presents and Mr and Mrs Christmas for the event, and walked from the Brandreth Avenue home to the town centre and back again.
And they have raised £500 so far, for Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.
Deputy home manager Tracy Davidson said: “It was a little bit cold but the laughter kept us warm! We got a great response from the public, it put a smile on their faces!”
