Kensworth Lower School held an open day and coffee morning for prospective pupils and parents, who were shown what the school has to offer.
Children were given exciting cooking lessons, as well special phonics tuition to help them with letters and sounds, while headteacher Anna Kentish showed parents around the Common Road school.
Mrs Kentish said: “It was a come-and-see-us event to let parents see what we do. They saw the school in action. There was a variety of activities and the children had fun. The day ended with a big sing-song.”
