A rise in the number of apprenticeships in this area was welcomed by South West Beds MP Andrew Selous.
He said it was “fantastic” that 820 people became apprentices last year in South West Beds
Mr Selous added: “Apprenticeships are a great way to help people get the skills they need to make a better future for themselves.
“I want many more people in South West Bedfordshire to have the chance to earn and learn at the same time, as an apprentice.”
He urged people to look at whether they could benefit from apprenticeship opportunities.
