Dunstable singers are busily rehearsing for a high note in their careers – a performance at London’s O2 Arena.
Members of Dunstable Rock Choir will be taking part in an “en masse” concert.
They will join fellow Rock Choirs for the big event in July next year.
Dunstable Rock Choir leader Pippa Gearing explained: “Members will be learning a repertoire of songs from artists such as Adele, Annie Lennox, the Bee Gees, Rihanna, Tina Turner and Abba.
“Everyone gets to take part in the O2 concert, including any new members who join between now and July.
“We also have lots more exciting shows and events planned in the local community.”
Rock Choir has already held a sell-out Wembley Arena event, seen in an ITV1 documentary, The Choir That Rocks.
More than 10,000 Rock Choir members enjoyed a day of singing and celebration, and helped support the charities Refuge and Missing People.
Pippa said: “As well as helping to improve your singing voice and health, being in Rock Choir is a great way of having fun and making new friends – plus as you can see, we get to enjoy some pretty amazing experiences!”
