This was the dramatic scene after two cars went up in flames on Dunstable Downs.
Shocked visitors to the beauty spot saw Dunstable firefighters in action in a car park on Saturday, September 8.
The fire appears to have spread from one car to a neighbouring vehicle.
One fire engine was called out, at about 2pm.
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and the fire was under control in about 20 minutes.
One car was a Mercedes and it is believed that the other was a Punto.
