Two men were badly hurt when they were attacked by a gang in Luton Road, Dunstable on Friday night.
The assault took place at about 10pm, with a 35-year-old man knocked unconscious and the other victim, a 25-year-old man suffering serious injuries.
He was taken to the Luton and Dunstable Hospital for treatment.
