Police are appealing for witnesses after a peeping tom was caught watching a young girl undress at Dunstable Leisure Centre on Friday (August 17).
A man was reported to have been looking underneath a cubicle at a nine-year-old girl on while she changed out of her swimming costume.
At about 1.40pm, the girl was getting changed in the family cubicles when she noticed a camera underneath the adjoining room.
The victim then saw a man’s head appear underneath the cubicle looking up at her, so she screamed and obscured the man’s view with her leg.
The girl – who had been swimming with her sister – stayed in the cubicle until she was sure the man had gone before raising the alarm.
The offender is described as a white man, in his late teens or early 20s, of slender build.
He was wearing glasses and a green T-shirt.
