THE police helicopter was deployed this morning following reports of a wanted man spotted in Bidwell Hill.
Beds Police responded to an emergency call from a member of the public just after 9am this morning (August 8).
The suspect started to flee from police at about 9.30am, jumping garden fences before making off down Dog Kennel Walk.
Police have secured the Houghton Regis entrance to the wooded footpath and the search is ongoing.
