REPAIR work is due to take place on the A5 at Hockliffe this week.
Workmen were expected to start on the project yesterday, Tuesday, November 8.
And the plan is that the work should go on for four nights.
The Highways Agency says that the scheme will involve repairs to the carriageway.
And the team will also be replacing white lining and anti-skid surfacing.
The work will be carried out over a distance of 200m between the northbound and southbound approaches to the A4012 junction.
This project will involve lane closures overnight between 9pm and 6am.
