IT’S time to get nominating for the Dunstable Business and Community Awards.

Nominations can now be submitted and are open to individuals, schools, community groups and businesses in the Dunstable area.

Organisers Katey Horne and Sandie Copp, of networking group Networking@Dunstable, say nomination forms have been specifically designed to make it as easy as possible for people to enter.

“We want as many people as possible to take advantage of this opportunity to celebrate success,” said Katey.

“Entries close on August 31 for the business awards and September 7 for the community awards and are open for you to nominate yourself or someone you feel deserves an award.”

Community categories include champion of the year, young hero, student of the year, teacher of the year, carer of the year and volunteer of the year.

Business awards include new start-up of the year, community business of the year, employee of the year, retailer of the year and apprentice of the year.
