HATTERS assistant boss Alan Neilson is hoping to extend his stay with the club in the near future, writes Mike Simmonds.
The 39-year-old was out of contract over the summer, but despite not being awarded a new deal just yet, is in talks with the club’s hierarchy to sort it out.
Meanwhile, Neilson saw Town’s coaching staff expanded last week when ex-Luton goalkeeper and former Hatters team-mate Carl Emberson was appointed as first team development coach.
