A WOMAN was left hospitalised after being assaulted while walking her dog in Houghton Regis.
The 27-year-old was walking through woodland behind Plaiters Way at 12.20pm on Wednesday July 4 when she was forced to the floor and hit with a stick before her dog bit the attackers leg causing him to flee.
The offender is white, tanned, 19-25 years old, of stocky build, around six foot tall, with a pronounced jaw and defined cheekbone, and short dark hair. He had a Celtic tattoo on his forearm and smelt of alcohol and cannabis.
