THE streets of Eaton Bray and Edlesborough will be a riot of colour this Saturday (July 7), when the St Mary’s Carnival takes place.
This year’s theme is inventions so the crowds which line the villages’ streets can expect to see some wacky contraptions in the parade of floats, bands, dancers and vintage cars.
Pet owners will already be on hand to see their pooches enter the companion dog show which kicks off at 10.30am with judging from midday.
The main carnival begins at 1.30pm and goes on for about three hours. There are a variety of arena events plus dozens of stalls, attractions, sideshows and fun competitions.
