Pregnant assault victim speaks

A NINE-months-pregnant woman who was assaulted in Dunstable has spoken of her ordeal in the hope that the “monster” who attacked her is caught before someone is killed.

Terri Taylor, who is due to give birth on Sunday (July 1) was on her way to a midwife appointment when she was brutally attacked by stranger.

Terri, 19, of Bedford Close, said: “I didn’t think I was going to get back up.

“I screamed at him ‘I’m pregnant, I’m pregnant!’ but he didn’t stop.

“He’s a monster. He’s not a man at all.”

The offender, who did not steal anything during the attack, is described as 5ft 5ins tall, of skinny build with dark hair.

He was wearing blue jeans and a light-coloured top, possibly grey or khaki.

Please call 101 with information, or Det Sgt Greschner, investigating, on 01582 473386.

>Terri was speaking to reporter Richard Redman. For the full interview, including mum Tracey’s “heartbreaking” reaction, see next week’s Dunstable Gazette – out on Wednesday.
