RESTAURANT chefs will be cooking up culinary delights at Dunstable Market at its relaunch event this Saturday, June 30.
See them in action at the Creative Kitchen event on The Square, from 10am-4pm.
Shoppers can pick up cookery ideas using market produce and tips on creating ‘restaurant specials’.
This event marks the change of management, with the market now being run by Dunstable Town Council, and National Market Fortnight.
The council is investing in the market and says its development is an essential part of the regeneration of the town centre.
Stalls have been on offer for £10 to new traders for the week leading up to the event and the kitchen day itself.
Councillor Liz Jones, community services committee chairman, has been encouraging young and old to take up the offer and try their hand at being a market trader.
She added: “We very much hope that local shoppers will also back the market by supporting local traders and shopping local, as this is a vital role that residents of Dunstable can play in growing the market.”
