A DUNSTABLE model narrowly missed out on winning a national competition after reaching the fiinals of ‘Grosvenor Casinos Search for a Model’ this month.
Yasmin Ryan, 19, won the regional heats held at G Casino Luton, but missed out on the top prize at G Casino in Coventry on Saturday, June 9.
She said: “Winning the regional heats of Grosvenor Casinos Search for a Model was a real shock as I did not expect it.
“Going to the final at Grosvenor G Casino Coventry was a great experience, the venue was amazing and the show was really exciting.
“It would have been brilliant to win in the final but I’m happy that I got this far… we are all winners in any case!”
