A GENERAL knowledge quiz is being held on Saturday (June 16) to raise money for this year’s Kensworth Flower and Vegetable Show.
The cost of the evening at Kensworth Village Hall is £6, which includes a light supper, but participants are asked to bring their own drinks.
Those pitting their wits against other teams will be contributing towards Kensworth’s fifth annual flower and vegetable show on September 1, also to be held at the Common Road hall.
A special section has been added this year as there will be ‘men only’ awards in cooking and preserves categories.
The awards presentation starts at 3.45pm, followed by a raffle and an auction of produce. For the quiz, doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
