HATTERS managing director Gary Sweet has reiterated his calls for more promotion places from the Conference to League Two, writes Mike Simmonds.
Town will spend their fourth successive season in the Blue Square Bet Premier after defeat in the play-off final at Wembley last weekend.
Currently only two go up from the Conference, while four are relegated and speaking before the club’s 2-1 reverse to York City, Sweet said: “I would even say four up four down.
“If you look at where the leagues are, Premier League to Championship, it’s three. Then the numbers of clubs from League Two to League One is four.”
