RUGBY: Leicestershire romped into the semi-finals of the County Championship Shield by scoring 12 tries as they trounced East Midlands 78-14 to win Pool Two.
Bedford Athletic scrum-half Tom Orton scored late in the first half, while club-mate James Mortimer converted both of the East Midlands scores. But Orton was sent off for punching early in the second half.
