Just a few tickets left for ‘bhangra king’

THERE are just a few tickets left for tomorrow night’s charity concert by ‘King of Bhangra’ Malkit Singh.

The singer is coming to Luton for a special concert to raise money for the L&D’s neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

Malkit is the biggest-selling bhangra star of all time, has made 35 albums with his band Golden Star and was awarded the MBE in 2008.

The concert at Venue Central includes a three-course meal, and will be the first time he has performed in Luton.

Jagtar Singh, a non-executive director at the L&D was instrumental in persuading the star to come to Luton.

He said: “We are honoured that Malkit Singh’s first concert performance in Luton is to help raise funds for the Luton& Dunstable Hospital’s neonatal unit.”

For tickets call the L&D fundraising team on 01582 718043.
