Students are inspired by poet laureate

STUDENTS at Central Beds College in Dunstable were treated to a performance by Milton Keynes’ poet laureate to encourage them to write their own poetry.

Mark Niel appeared on Wednesday, April 25 to speak about opportunities the spoken word provides.

The performance was a success and the college has set up workshops and a competition to encourage students to write their own poetry.
