DUNSTABLE’S Apprentice hopeful Jade Nash is still going strong in the BBC TV programme, with bookies tipping her as one of the favourites to scoop the £250,000 prize.
Although betting on the pre-recorded programme is not allowed, bettingpro.com lists Jade, 29, as joint-third favourite with odds of 7/1.
Hampshire-born Jade, now living in Dunstable, is a former 18-30 holiday rep who feels her strength is her resilience and lists her parents as her role models.
Jade, who grew up helping out on her father’s caravan park in Devizes, Wiltshire, says she is “never intimidated” and does not have any annoying habits.
She said: “It’s about doing the best that I can within my small life period that I have.
“What I want is to be able to retire when I’m 45 but to be honest I’m such a workaholic I’ll probably carry on until I’m 80.”
“I’m never intimidated by what people do.”
Jade is one of ten contestants still in the competition, hoping to win the first prize of a monetary investment in their concept and the guidance of business guru Lord Sugar.
