THERE are just a few days left to cast your vote in Dunstable’s great Shop Local customer service awards.

Latest businesses nominated include the PC Help Centre, which really is a “favourite” with computer users looking for outstanding customer care.

Chief executive Adrian White and daughter Annette, the sales and marketing director, have also been nominated for individual awards.

Annette said: “We are absolutely thrilled. We are very passionate about customer service.”

The centre is based in Brittany Court, High Street South, and supports home and business users.

It sells IT equipment and offers services including repair and maintenance, data recovery and data forensics, and domain hosting and web design.

The centre is also one of the businesses on Central Beds Council’s Trading Standards Approved list.

One satisfied customer who nominated the centre told of its “great service.”

His PC was hit by a virus, but Adrian went to his home and dealt with the problem “in very quick time”.

> Have you voted yet for the business you think offers the best customer service in Dunstable?

You can also nominate a special employee there – or at another business in the town – for an individual award.

Dunstable Town Council and the Dunstable Gazette are organising the awards.

The contest categories are:

> Best Customer Service From A Local Business.

> Best Customer Service From A Local Business Employee.

The winning business will receive a full colour, quarter page advert in the Dunstable Gazette, Luton News and Herald&Post as a prize.

And the victorious individual employee will be treated to theatre tickets.

If you nominate the winning business or individual, your name will be entered into a prize draw for theatre tickets, afternoon tea for two at Priory House and a voucher for one hour’s complimentary use of the artificial grass pitch at Creasey Park Community Football Centre.

Nominations aren’t limited just to retail – they can include banks, garages, pubs, restaurants and cafes.

> It’s so easy to vote. Just fill in and return the nomination form in the Dunstable Gazette by post, by April 13, or email your nominations to editorial@lutonnews.co.uk.
