A TEENAGER was threatened with what appeared to be a hand gun during a robbery in Houghton Regis yesterday afternoon (Monday April 2).
The 14-year-old was stopped in Parkside between 3.30pm and 4pm and a man aged between 18 and 22 forced him to hand over his phone.
The robber is described as black, approximately 6ft tall, and of medium build. He wore a dark-coloured hooded top, dark trousers, sunglasses and a black bandana covering the lower part of his face.
He ran off towards Lewsey Farm.
PC Jenny Buckley, investigating, said: “This was a shocking experience for a young person to have to deal with and I would urge anyone who has information relating to this crime to have the courage to come forward and help with this investigation.”
