DUNSTABLE Town Council have approved plans to launch a town ranger service that will improve and spruce up the apppearance of the town’s public areas.
The flexible scheme will clean the public realm on a ‘see it, sort it’ basis.
The plans were given the go-ahead by the grounds and environmental services committee at a meeting on Monday March 19.
A budget of £86,498 was earmarked last month for equipment required for services such as repairs to council property, cleaning graffiti, washing pavements and trimming hedges.
