FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a house fire in Ridgeway Avenue yesterday afternoon (Wednesday March 28).
The blaze started just before 2pm in a bedroom, but was out when crews arrived.
Later crews were called to a wheelie bin fire at Tesco Express in Langdale Road (9.36pm), and to a tree stump on fire on the Weatherby estate (10.54pm).
