DON’T miss your chance to cast your vote in Dunstable’s great Shop Local customer service awards.
Outstanding customer care at the West Street Pharmacy is just what the doctor ordered.
Now the Dunstable chemist’s shop has been nominated in the Shop Local contest.
Andrew Milne, of Lovers Walk, Dunstable, said: “I have been going there for a good number of years now. They are very courteous and kind.”
And “welcoming and cheerful” counter assistants Sharon Ling and Julia Mills, from the pharmacy team, have been nominated for an individual award for sterling service.
The pharmacy sells a wide range of products, and provides a delivery service for patients unable to collect prescriptions.
Owner and pharmacist Balbir Parkash, who has run the chemist’s shop for 22 years, was very pleased by the nominations.
He said: “It is really nice to be noticed – we try our best for the customers!”
Have you cast your vote for the business you think offers the best customer service in Dunstable?
You can also nominate a special employee there – or at another business in the town – for an individual award.
Dunstable Town Council is organising the customer service awards in partnership with the Dunstable Gazette.
The contest categories are:
> Best Customer Service From A Local Business.
> Best Customer Service From A Local Business Employee.
The winning business will receive a full colour, quarter page advert in the Dunstable Gazette, Luton News and Herald&Post as a prize. And the victorious individual employee will be treated to theatre tickets.
If you nominate the winning business or individual, your name will be entered into a prize draw for theatre tickets, afternoon tea for two at Priory House and a voucher for one hour’s complimentary use of the artificial grass pitch at Creasey Park Community Football Centre.
Nominations aren’t limited just to retail – they can include banks, garages, pubs, restaurants and cafes.
> It’s so easy to vote. Just fill in and return the nomination form in the Dunstable Gazette by post, by April 13, or email your nominations to editorial@lutonnews.co.uk.
