HOUSEHOLDERS in Central Beds are being urged to pay their council tax bills by direct debit.
Central Beds Council says that direct debit offers convenience, peace of mind, and choice, as you can pick from four monthly payment dates and pay over 10 or 12 months to suit your budget.
It is appealing for more people to use the direct debit route.
And the team advises anyone struggling to pay their council tax bill to check whether they are entitled to benefits and discounts.
