Southern League Division One Central Barton Rovers 4 Burnham 2
BARTON Rovers made it three straight wins and moved to within five points of an Evo-Stik Southern League Division One Central play-off place with a superb 4-2 victory against a resilient Burnham side at Sharpenhoe Road on Saturday.
Russell Bull opened the scoring on 17 minutes, but Burnham levelled 10 minutes later as Leo Togwell slotted home.
Ricky Case netted his 13th of the season five minutes before the break, while it was 3-1 on the hour as Parkinson tapped home.
Ryan Bird popped up for the visitors with 20 minutes to go to make it 3-2, but Parkinson sealed the points late on.
Barton travel to play off hopefuls Northwood this weekend.
